Epic Win: The Slow Clap

Apr. 27, 2010

Submitted by The Berg, an underdog who dared to be different

Is there anything more full of win than the slow clap? From Rudy to Lucas to contemporary classics like Harry Potter, soak in the slow clap in all its glory.
Slow clap now available in GIF format.

Epic Win: Big Trouble in Little China

Mar. 10, 2010

More like Big Trouble on Little TV screen! (See what I did there??) I forced 10 friends to cram in to the playroom of my house just to watch Kurt Russell kick some ass. I could only love him more in Overboard.

Epic Win: National Lampoon’s Vacation

Feb. 3, 2010

Submitted by Fiesta , who’s going to Walley World!

“Getting there is half the fun.” Anyone whose parents ever said that to them knows exactly what to expect. There really is nothing like a John Hughes film to make one feel nostalgic. This being one of his most popular films, it’s especially WIN! This 1983 film introduced us to the Griswold family, who went on to entertain us even more in European Vacation and Christmas Vacation. Tell us about your favorite scenes or quotes in the comments.

Epic Win: Turner & Hooch

Jan. 27, 2010

Submitted by Susan V, human de Bordeaux:

What is not to like here? Tom Hanks? A big, slobbery Dogue de Bordeaux (that would be Hooch) that—wait for it—helps solve a crime?! Oh, dog may be man’s best friend, but he is also man’s best costar. This 1989 film performed well at the box office (an attempt at a spin-off television series was even made) depsite later becoming a constant source of jokeage for Mr. Hanks upon becoming more famous.
