Epic Win: Pretty Pretty Princess

May. 28, 2010

once upon a win

Submitted by Andrea W, who is the prettiest princess

I played this game with my sisters and cousins. Once you acquired the necklace, the bracelet , the ring and the earrings you would be promoted to the status of “Pretty Pretty Princess,” and be awarded with a plastic crown. But watch out! If you landed on the spot for the “Black Ring,” you were totally screwed!

I’m sure this board game was created with good intentions, but at least in my own experience, it resulted in a lot of bruised arms and skinned knees. My sisters and cousins were never happy about getting cursed with the black ring. Also, I think we broke the winning crown early on, so we had to make one out of paper.

When it’s not your money, shopping always feels like a game. Normally the mall doesn’t talk to you, though.

Hey, remember the game Dream Phone? I remember Dan the Man from the game. Loved it!

And just so you can remember, in full technicolor, all the squealing fun:

“It’s for you!”
